The special guide on the cutters fits perfectly into the track on the edge of the rulers and prevents the cutter from slipping off course. The guide can be removed whenever needed allowing you to use the cutter with any standard ruler or template. The cutter has an overall length of 8 inches and can be used with either the left or right hand. The blade is 60mm and can be replaced when dull.
